COLLEGE PREPARATORY ACADEMICS

Monarch School provides year-round enrollment into the academic curriculum. The year is divided into four ten-week quarters. In conjunction with a solid college-preparatory curriculum, students attend Creative Arts, Outdoor Education, and Vocational Learning classes, for which they receive high school credit.

Monarch School’s year-round enrollment and quarter system allows an incoming student to move ahead of where he or she would have been in a traditional academic setting. Students can receive full academic credit for a semester class in ten weeks, eight weeks less than a traditional semester system. The 90-minute block scheduling allows most students to take more classes and electives in a shorter period of time. Quarterly report cards and conferences with the Academic Director allow families to keep current with their child’s progress.

The Monarch School is fully accredited by NIPSA (National Independent Private School Association)
