Family Counseling Services Available On Campus
The Center for Excellence offers family therapy sessions for Monarch School families via Skype video conference calls. This is an optional service. Your child’s Individual Monarch School Therapist, you, and your consultant, as appropriate, assess and determine how many, if at all, sessions and session frequency are best for your family’s needs.
If your family decides to utilize the family counseling services, the Family Therapist facilitates sessions via scheduled Skype calls with parents, couples and siblings. The Family Therapist and the student’s Individual Monarch School Therapist will determine as to when these conference calls begin based on your child’s readiness.
Each week the Family Therapist meets with the student’s Individual Monarch School Therapist discussing your child’s progress, collaborating in support of the student’s individual treatment plan and the health and reunification of the family system.
Please note, family counseling services are billed separately and coded properly for insurance purposes.
